I decided to let y’all in on this hidden gem.
There are many, many Italian food options in Las Vegas. But will a visitor to Las Vegas even consider a restaurant that’s a distance away from the Strip? Will locals be upset that I’ve told the secret?

Well, I’m all about good Italian food, having lived in South Philadelphia. I truly miss the restaurants, Italian Market, and ambiance of the neighborhood there. That is why I have to share my experience at My Mother’s House Family Style Italian Restaurant (including notes about its accessiblity). In my opinion, this is the only Italian food in Las Vegas comparable to South Philadelphia.
Here are some important things to know:
- You must have reservations!
The restaurant is usually at full capacity every night. To make a reservation, call 702-998-2820.
