Dusk Music Festival held in Tucson, Arizona is a bit different than all the other music festivals that I have been to. It is an all ages event and features different genres of music including rock, hip hop, indie pop and edm. There are also art installations, sculptures, murals, arcade and food served exclusively by Tucson restaurants.
My friend and I like all types of music and couldn’t wait to get to Armory Park to check out this music festival. We took an accessible street car near our hotel and just strolled to the park without any issue. The park was pretty wheelchair accessible and there were wheelchair ramps put in areas where needed. Accessible porta potties could also be easily located throughout the venue.
There were 3 music stages, with only the main San Carlos stage having a designated wheelchair viewing area. This area was not on a raised platform and was a bit too far back to see the stage well. Lucky we were allowed to hang out in the VIP area for the big 2 stages and got to really enjoy our music festival experience.
