I’m not usually drawn to the idea of space travel but during the pandemic it has, at times, seemed a reasonable option. Children, adults and billionaires are intrinsically curious about what is beyond our planet. If you’re one of those people, you’ll love Neighbourhood Earth. The exhibition is housed in the International Convention Centre (ICC) at Darling Harbour so it’s accessible to all.

Neighbourhood Earth is an award-winning, multi-sensory, immersive space experience, combining cutting edge technology with the latest in science, to tell the story of space exploration. Neighbourhood Earth has toured around the world and has now landed in Sydney for its Australian premiere. After lockdown we are keen to be immersed in new experiences. We’ve been doing our best to get Braeden out and about as safely as possible. We are pleased to say the Covid-safe measures at Neighbourhood Earth, combined with the large venue, made us feel fairly safe.

Neighbourhood Earth was developed in conjunction with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and NASA’s George C. Marshall. Models, spacecraft, tools, astronaut suits and a large cinematic experience combine to give visitors a greater understanding of space travel and previous mission achievements.
