Bookings for the accessible group trip to Barcelona, Spain and the Catalonia region are now open for paid subscribers.
Hello, everyone!
Today is an exciting day — bookings for the September 2025 WheelchairTravel.org Group Trip to Barcelona, Spain are now open!
I invite you to join me and fellow readers on an accessible tour of Spain this Fall, from September 9, 2025 to September 18, 2025. Together, we’ll eat, drink and explore our way through the remarkable region of Catalonia, visiting iconic sites like the Sagrada Família church, Parc Güell on Carmel Hill and the tree-lined pedestrian avenue Las Ramblas.

We’ll also enjoy the spectacular views from Montserrat and see a performance of its Escalonia Choir, before turning our sights to the Costa Brava and attractions like the Salvador Dalí Museum in the artist’s birthplace of Girona, Spain. This is a trip designed for all of us, made accessible through extensive planning and partnerships with a team of accessible tourism experts!

With the support of local and regional partners, I’ve built an itinerary that will take us to Spain’s exceptional UNESCO World Heritage Sites, to some of its best restaurants, and to one of Barcelona’s most popular Flamenco performances — all while enjoying the company of other travelers. Travelers will delight in the wheelchair accessible accommodations at Barcelona’s exclusive Seventy Hotel, which was recently awarded one of the very first MICHELIN Keys (think MICHELIN Stars, but for exceptional hotels). This is a tour unlike any other.
Paid subscribers to this newsletter will have exclusive access to the tour itinerary and booking information from now until Monday, March 3, after which time it will open to everyone if spaces remain. Many Wheelchair Travel groups sell out quickly, and the same could happen with this tour. If you are not yet a premium subscriber and would like to skip the wait, please upgrade your subscription to gain this and many other benefits.

Please note that spaces are limited and I expect the groups to fill up quickly. If you have any questions about the trip, or if you will have any special requirements (bed hoists, bathroom equipment, or a personal care assistant), you can let me know through the interest form at the link above, or reach out directly to me via e-mail at grouptrips@wheelchairtravel.org.
I look forward to meeting you in Spain!
All the best,

I am an Independent Luxury Travel Advisor and love that you have these amazing accessible travel experiences in Europe. I book a lot of international trips usually with myself being the only one requiring accessibility. I’ve heard great things about Barcelona in terms of accessibility. Taking a group on a Western Mediterranean Cruise from October 19-26 2025 and doing a 3 night post cruise stay. I’m hopeful about hotels/tours. Thank you for sharing and I will post on my page. With Gratitude and Blessings Always,
Deneen of Cooper VIP Travel Agency 🙏🏼❤️
