Spitfire Scout 4-Wheel Drive Scooter

Posted on December 22, 2020December 24, 2020 by Chillie Falls

Continuing with our research on a mobility scooter, The Scout 4 is a wonderful travel scooter for those wanting a lightweight (94 pounds) scooter that can go the distance for a full days worth of activities.

The Spitfire Scout 4-wheel genuinely is the best mobility scooter for your on-the-go lifestyle. The Scout can be easily dismantled; when fully dismantled, the heaviest piece is only 39 pounds. The seat back folds down making storage and transportability of this unit easy as well. With common batteries the Scout 4 can go 9 miles on a full charge plus approximately 15 miles with the upgraded 20 amp batteries. A 42.5″ overall size, and 4 wheel drive gives this scooter a little bit more stability and more leg area than other scooters in the same price range. The width of 21.5″ is certainly handy.

The Scout 4 comes standard with 12AH batteries that will provide up to 9 miles on a full charge. You can also upgrade to the 20 AH batteries on the Extended version and get up to 15 miles on a full charge.

Review

Dear Spinlife, I have arthritis in my spine and hips. My Scooter allows me mobility to get out of bed and the apartment when able. Love it. Took my neighbor 10 minutes to put it together. Great battery life. Adjustable seat and great customer service.
