We discovered the White Rabbit Gallery earlier this year when we were lured there to see the fabulous Lumen exhibition. When invited to visit again to see the new exhibition, Big in China, we jumped at the chance. The description of the exhibition had me curious. I really didn’t know what to expect but knowing that the White Rabbit Gallery is wheelchair accessible and offers interesting art we headed there last weekend.

WHITE RABBIT GALLERY – BIG IN CHINA
The White Rabbit Gallery is tucked away in the Sydney suburb of Chippendale. Opened in 2009 to showcase what has become one of the world’s most significant collections of Chinese contemporary art, it is now home to the exhibition Big in China.

Braeden likes to keep moving wherever we go so I can’t say I had a long time to read the explanations of the various artworks. People always interpret art in different ways and what I can say is that we were wowed by the uniqueness of the whole experience. The exhibition is described as addressing the challenges of captivating the attention of over a billion people.
Big in China is on at the White Rabbit Gallery until 22 May 2022.
